Life with Chromebook: Day One

Well it came this afternoon. My new (refurbished) HP Chromebook. It was $185 on Amazon.


Here are the specs:

• Intel Celeron 2955U 1.4 GHz (2 MB Cache)

• 2 GB DDR3L SDRAM

• 16 GB Solid-State Drive

• 14.0-Inch Screen, Intel HD Graphics

• Chrome OS

So far so good. I've checked out a few websites and am writing this post on it. 

I like that when I click on "Files" it logs me into my Google Drive. It's transparent and will work as long as I have a wifi connection. That doesn't seem to be that much of an issue since I have wifi almost everywhere I go anyway and my phone is a hotspot when I need it.  I'll keep you posted on how it goes and how I compare working on it to my PC and MAC computers.
