I like Khan Academy, I really do. You should try it out www.khanacademy.org. But that is not why we are here today.
Khan Academy is a powerful tool because Sal Khan narrates all of them. He explains what he is drawing as he draws it. He uses a black "whiteboard" to diagram everything and then explains it while he's doing it. You \can pause, go back, review as many times as you need to before you become proficient.
Soon you will be able to create the same types of lessons on your iPad using ShowMe, an app from Easel. You draw, you talk and you upload. Here's one I did on Haiku.
Can you imagine having students create and upload lessons for other students? The mind boggles.
